Some BTS info on the making of Mainstream, was published by THE FIRST TIMES. The following is a brief summary:

• Editing took more than 720 hours


• To really showcase the line, “from the bottom to the top”, underground locations to 123 m tall buildings were sought out for permission for filming.


• 154 extras (dancers)


• Drones and helicopters were used


• The Tokyo highway too, was used to reflect a futuristic Tokyo.
