Since April 2nd this year, MAZZEL has started their own radio show on Tokyo FM, MAZZEL RADIO STATION!
I recently got to their 30th episode, so I thought I'll start sharing their episodes from the very beginning.
Brief Summary
This episode is with Ran and Eiki! Ran brings up the Harry Potter mobile game with Eiki (who also plays!) and apparently all of MAZZEL (except Kairyu) are playing Smash Bros!
This episode included the following special segments:
- MAZZEL PATROL: Listeners submit moments in their life that made them happy or gave them a sense of contentment.
- MAZZEL TRACKS: Members take turns to share a song to play on radio and why they shared it.

Intro
⚾: It’s our first episode together right?
🦅: Yeah, there’s usually me and you, plus a third member
[Comments say 🦅 and ⚾both seem the serious type (majime)]
🦅: Noo~ ⚾’s not that “majime” guys
⚾: So 🦅’s the “majime” one?
🦅: Maybe~
⚾: Actually, last week when you were recording with 🐹and 🦄 talking about the [Harry Potter] game, I was outside the radio booth playing it
⚾: I’m in the same house as 🐹 btw [Gryffindor], the red
🦅: Yeah, the red~ So ⚾ and 🐹are in the same house. Me and 🦄 are in the same house.
🦅: I’m pretty sure the two of them are continuing with the game outside, haha.
MAZZEL PATROL continues
🦅 and ⚾’s order in which they eat at a buffet [There’s always a strategy, lol]
and how many plates they have by the end of a sushi express
Buffet!
⚾ doesn’t like sweets / desserts that much so he always starts with meat. Fried chicken, pork cutlets, etc
🦅 starts with salad → soup → main!
🦅: If it’s 🐥, he’ll go straight for the sweets, and go “Ehh~ They have desserts!!! 😍” [he copies 🐥’s tone here lol]
⚾: He’ll probably have a plate full of sweets then, [move on]
🦅: Exactly, and then move to main dish “Ah! They have these too!” [still copying 🐥]
🦅: But you can do that, start from sweets then to main. Have some sweets then eat some main dishes, go back to main, like that.
Sushi!
⚾ likes sushi and has it often. He will have about 10 plates by the end (at like sushi express)
🦅’s the same, or sometimes he can have 15 plates
🦅, 🦦, 🦔, ⚾ have sushi together often. Everyone’s eats roughly the same number of plates. 🦔 looooves sushi (especially flounder and salmon), since he only likes eating those though, he gets full really fast XD
🦅says everyone in mazz ends up with about 10 to 15 plates
⚾: I want to see how many plates I end up accumulating! Go at a time when I’m super hungry or something
🦅: True~
🦅: There was a time when I was a student that I wanted to aim for 30 plates, I got carried away. In the beginning, I was super happy, eating to my heart’s content. You can order using the tablets too, so I ordered a lot and they all kind of came at the same time. I wanted to finish them all, then got too full 😂
⚾: It often ends up like that. The beginning is always great, but towards the end it gets tough.
⚾ can have about 10 plates and all of them will have prawn / shrimp in them 🤣

⚾ shared back number’s “After You Closed the Door / Kimi ga Doa wo Shimeta Ato”
He says the mazz sign events in Nagoya ended, and – he can’t say right now – but there was another very important work. In terms of order, he was the last one to do it. It didn’t go as well as he hoped so he was feeling a little down. He already liked this song, but this song came on shuffle when he was on his way home and it helped cheer him up.
The day before this important job, ⚾ received a lot of warm, kind words from MUZEs (3 days: Tokyo → Osaka → Nagoya) that became his source of power. He hopes this song can be his way of returning their kindness. (He had a lot of fun!)
⚾ says he remembers fans’ faces, what they wore, and the conversation they had really well, like a video playing in his head (🦅 too). He wants to thank MUZEs who couldn’t make it either.

⚾’s rivals are: 🦄 and 🦔 (🦔 is ⚾’s goal)
They gotta pick characters and how they fight using them is also interesting (according to ⚾)
🦅 uses a variety of characters
🦦likes picking bigger / bulkier looking characters (very good with using them, according to 🦅& ⚾)
🦔picks eccentric characters (I think that’s what they’re saying? LOL)
Haven’t been able to win (against 🦦 or 🦔I can’t be sure haha)
⚾ wants to win so has actually started looking up tutorial videos 🤣
⚾ doesn’t like to lose, so he usually doesn’t play games if he can’t win them, but says Smash Bros is OK because even when you lose it’s still fun.
Goals for the Summmerrrrr
🦅 wants to eat cotton ice; the very good kind. He wants to try it, even just once
⚾ wants to try good 🦐 food → he later added that he wants to know more about 🦐and become knowledgeable on them 👓
⚾: I heard that if you eat too much 🦐you can become allergic
🦅: Oh yeah!
⚾: That’s scary isn’t it?
🦅: Mmm
⚾: Oh wait I change my mind! I want to be able to make 🦐 dishes myself!
