Since April 2nd this year, MAZZEL has started their own radio show on Tokyo FM, MAZZEL RADIO STATION!
This post is different from previous ones because it was a public recording, with an audience, of MAZZEL RADIO STATION!
Brief Summary
The public recording was held on October 26, with the eventual broadcast of the event split into two parts.
Part 1 was broadcasted on October 29, 2023
Part 2 was broadcasted on November 5, 2023
Members were split into two teams:
TEAM CARNIVAL (Part 1) - SEITO, NAOYA, RAN, HAYATO
TEAM LIGHTNING (Part 2) - KAIRYU, TAKUTO, RYUKI, EIKI
All members were present for greetings and intro talk before giving the floor to four members, and they all return for thank you's!
In Part 1, it included the following special segments:
- "Do you know this song?" Quiz: Mazz has to work together to know what are the songs listeners have picked.
- Create a new melody for “Kaeru no Uta”: can the team work together to sing "Kaeru no Uta" together?
- MAZZEL TRACKS SURVIVAL!: a staple segment on Mazz Raji, it was made extra special for the public recording! Each member chose a song, but only one song can be picked for airplay. Members weren't allowed to say what song they picked. Only why they chose it and their reasons. The winner will be determined by the number of audiences clapping!

🦅: Usually one member will be selected to present a song in the MAZZEL TRACKS corner. This time though, each of us chose a song, but only one song can be picked for airplay. The winner will be determined by the number of audiences clapping!
🦅: Rules! You can’t say what song you picked. Only why you chose it and your reasons. Each member will get a chance to do so. The audiences can vote (by clapping) for what they want to listen to after your presentation~ The song with the most claps will be played. If yours isn’t chosen it won’t be played~

🦅: The order [of the presentations] has been decided. Seito, you go first!
🐹: To put it simply, this song is a song that reminds me of hanging out with ☕. ☕and I are always together right, we’d listen to a lot of songs together. This song is one of those. If you listen to songs with friends, some of it stays with you right. In that sense, I think this song is going to be very important for me!
🐥: The lyrics to this song really touched me. The lyrics are very easy to understand. They improvised / wrote these lyrics on the fly.. It’s a song I think, “I hope what I feel reaches this person”.. Like a love song but after a break-up. I’ve been wanting to make songs and write lyrics so I’ve started keeping a notebook. Imagine myself as the protagonist in a love song or break-up song and write a lot, hoping it will reach you all
🦅: One reason I chose this song is because I listened to this song when I was little. Sometimes that happens right, a song you listen to when you’re small stays with you. I had a chance to listen to this song again. When you’re small, you listen to the song but kind of don’t understand the lyrics. It’s a song that really helped me now that I understand the meaning behind it. It was a song that really matched how I was feeling at the time, so it’s my fight song. A song that encourages me to be brave. Now that I’m older, I also realise this song has really great lyrics too. It’s a mood booster!
🦄: I thought I should first mention that the song I chose today is not by TREASURE. There is one more artist that inspired me to be an artist. They’re a group that has already disbanded, it was a unit formed for a limited period of time, but when I listen to this song I remember the dreams they gave me. I watched their disbandment in the theaters and when this song came on I couldn’t stop crying.

🐹: To put it simply, this song is a song that reminds me of hanging out with ☕. ☕and I are always together right, we’d listen to a lot of songs together. This song is one of those. If you listen to songs with friends, some of it stays with you right. In that sense, I think this song is going to be very important for me!
🐥: The lyrics to this song really touched me. The lyrics are very easy to understand. They improvised / wrote these lyrics on the fly.. It’s a song I think, “I hope what I feel reaches this person”.. Like a love song but after a break-up. I’ve been wanting to make songs and write lyrics so I’ve started keeping a notebook. Imagine myself as the protagonist in a love song or break-up song and write a lot, hoping it will reach you all
🦅: One reason I chose this song is because I listened to this song when I was little. Sometimes that happens right, a song you listen to when you’re small stays with you. I had a chance to listen to this song again. When you’re small, you listen to the song but kind of don’t understand the lyrics. It’s a song that really helped me now that I understand the meaning behind it. It was a song that really matched how I was feeling at the time, so it’s my fight song. A song that encourages me to be brave. Now that I’m older, I also realise this song has really great lyrics too. It’s a mood booster!
🦄: I thought I should first mention that the song I chose today is not by TREASURE. There is one more artist that inspired me to be an artist. They’re a group that has already disbanded, it was a unit formed for a limited period of time, but when I listen to this song I remember the dreams they gave me. I watched their disbandment in the theaters and when this song came on I couldn’t stop crying.
