bmsgSummary of SKY-HI's IG live after NNG Episode 4 (October 25th, 2024) premiered on YouTube!

(He’s doing this IG live as he works. So you’ll hear him typing and responding to things from time to time)
This is the first time he’s called CHANMINA as “Chanmina-san” 😂 (even he was kinda like “What did I just say, lmao”)
It’s like when he had to start letting boys go in THE FIRST
Thanks everyone for the great response and reception to Mina as a producer and to NNG
The final screening will take place in K-Arena on 1/11 and details are to come later
He doesn’t know what the final line-up of the group will be like.
He can’t say how many or who has stayed on.
"The part of the audition where we say thank you to the girls we’ve dropped and the girls we’ve kept has come."
"My job in NNG is to make Mina’s job [as a producer] easier, but I’m leaving the judging all to Mina"
He wants to take his hat off to Mina for her selection of songs for Round 3 and how she grouped the girls for the teams
He is sometimes shocked himself that Mina said the same things he did in THE FIRST
"I’ve said this in other IG lives before, I’m very similar to mina. To the point, is she me? Or am I her?"
Episode 5 is going to be interesting!
- “Just letting you all know, I’m going to show up a lot less starting from next week.”
- “NNG’s is Chanmina. So what she says is absolute. If Mina says something I’ll help her fulfil it.” Even though he’s CEO-slash-producer, he is pretty much letting Mina make the decisions in NNG.
- “What Mina doesn’t want to say in her feedback, I won’t say either. She won’t tell me to.”
- It would be tough for her right? Plus [with Mina’s pregnancy] it’s not like she could be like me and spend a month with the boys like I did in THE FIRST. I didn’t want the show to focus more on me because of that.
- He says to look forward to the girls’ evolution and growth (because he doesn’t know either) as well as CHANMINA’s abilities as a producer.
He mentioned some of this on Architect, about the company’s trainee program and the success of the company in its 4th / 5th year. He’s very conscious of BMSG having healthy and wholesome operations because it’s an entertainment company, and committed to people. It’s a very difficult type of business because it deals with people, so he cares about the company being healthy and operating well.
He’ll talk about NNG on Architect in the future too.
“The health of the boss too! 😂 I am working hard! If I don’t… There are some things only I can do right – same with CHANMINA – such as making the company bigger. Making sure that our artists make a profit. We make a profit and the artists will give back too. That way we can do what we can do creatively and tighten things up where we need to. Put simply, making the company bigger is something only I can do. Also to make sure that as a producer, my artists have a basis for their creativity / creative process.”
He mentions BE:FIRST and committing more to MAZZEL..

But on a different note, for this audition itself – there is a lot of talent here. They’re going to polish their skills, and they’re only going to keep polishing it from here!
His friends and people he knows in the industry will tell him, NNG is good and it’s interesting, but he wishes they’d say it publicly lol. He wants NNG to make waves in society and believes it is something society needs. No matter as an Asian, or to empower women, he thinks it’s a program that everyone should get on board with and a program that can make a difference.
His IG lives isn’t just him – as a boss – talking about NNG but also a statement of his resolve.

We don’t take viewer votes right?
We can’t give decision-making power to people who are customers – who are not professional [when it comes to the know-how] in developing artists, and cannot be made responsible for the development of said artists, or for the artists. Then it becomes an issue of who should take responsibility. I don’t think it’s a good idea, and we’re not doing it here.
But on a different note, for this audition itself – there is a lot of talent here. They’re going to polish their skills, and they’re only going to keep polishing it from here!

We only have you guys to support us / the girls. We can get the project running and do our best to make it good. Content and creative wise, we can also do our best, NNG is all on Mina.. For us, we can make the audition a good thing, but only you guys can tell other people that “This is a good thing!” and ask them to support it.
