Put on your dougi [1], tighten your belt
Eyes straight ahead
The opponent’s in front
No running now
I’ve made up my mind
Next game
Bow for respect
Even though nobody can match up to me
If you're gonna quit, just say so.
This is KARATE KID
OK, a purple belt back then
I breathed with the intent to kill
A little bit of mm (millimeter) is all I need
My presence alone makes them all run away
Let get it, not a championship belt
But a trophy of a guy doing a high kick [2]
To get it, you gotta play
Revise your convictions to pass over and over

Osu
Wax on, wax off
Heiko dachi [3], ready
Osu
Wax on, wax off
rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat

Osu
Wax on, wax off
Heiko dachi, ready
Osu
Wax on, wax off
One, two, three

Hiding the belt
The sweat from that day I won't forget
I don’t even know the name.
How many times have I mastered the basics?
Fair and square, that wall is easy. I'll see you down the road.
Bankroll’s[4] got the stock. No katana swords, we fight with fists
Now look!
No more complaints, that guy who mocked me?
His jaw's on the floor
Devotion to glory
Aim for the top
You don't seem to get it at all
With the speed of my sharpened front hand [5]
I’ll grab the mic before anyone else
What you got?
Try and grab it before me? Take your shot
No one can keep up [6] with me, boy

Osu
Wax on, wax off
Heiko dachi, ready
Osu
Wax on, wax off
rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat

Osu
Wax on, wax off
Heiko dachi, ready
Osu
Wax on, wax off
One, two, three

Osu
Wax on, wax off
Heiko dachi, ready
Osu
Wax on, wax off
rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat

Osu
Wax on, wax off
Heiko dachi, ready

[1] The Japanese term for karate attire
[2] "High kick" or jodan geri, is a kick (g/keri) where the foot aims for the upper (joudan) body.
[3] Heiko dachi, or parallel stance, is a stance you take in karate where your feet is shoulder-width apart. This is often the stance you take before transitioning into other stances or movements
[4] A shoutout to the producer of the track
[5] Without the next word for a specific attack (a punch, often called "maete-ts/zuki") it's hard to tell what Taiki is referring to, so I left it as simply the literal meaning, "front hand".
[6] TAIKI later shared that he incorporated double meaning into this line, taking notes from SKY-HI and Novel Core's own songwriting into this song. "tsuitekorenai" at face value means someone who can't keep up. In karate, there is a punch called "tsuki", so this line can also mean "There's no opening for anyone to hit, boy". Taiki kept the word "tsuite" in hiragana to infer this.
