LEO – Summary of NACK 5 & BEFORE DAWN radio guest appearances (2023.09)

During September as part of the release of BE:FIRST's 4th single, "Mainstream" the members went on various radio shows to promote it.

LEO has appeared on NACK5 and BEFORE DAWN for BE:FIRST's previous releases, so he of course appeared again for this release.

NACK 5

NACK 5 was all baseball talk 😂 but LEO did mention he'd often go watch matches by himself; and he'll be very happy if a few BESTYs become interested in baseball because of him / BE:FIRST (from BE:FIRST TV: He'll watch baseball matches at home too! With whiskey ✨ :leoemoji: )

the boys are still very wanting to perform in Apollo Theater in New York and also in the Half-Time Show of the U.S. Super Bowl

Mainstream, SOS, and Grow Up came outta a discussion among the members, which they then brought to boss, saying "These are the kinda songs we wanna do" that boss then helped produce.

BEFORE DAWN

Moegara gave 🦁 a bday gift (a high ball glass for his whiskey cuz he fancy 🥂 )
🦁 & Moegara became friends through LEO going on Moegara's Before Dawn last year (around the same time, Aug / September :)) & LEO messaging him if they can go out for drinks

🦁 brings up the trauma (he specifically phrases it as such here) during his period as a avex trainee and Moegara mentions that 🦁 would often get sad when they went for drinks last year.

🦁 says he's gotten over it (and we all glad for it!) and that meeting Moegara-san (and going for drinks cuz apparently no one in beef wanna hang when he wanna hang :() and the members really helped him along the way.

🦁 's still writing / journaling; but he's stopped for a bit. (Before, he'd send what he writes to Moegara, but Moegara said he's stopped recently and is taking 📸 more.) Something, if he writes what he feels now, it feels like that will make it more real / a reality / the truth of what he's feeling and he doesn't want that....? [I'll need help with this lol. 😂]

🦁 's been feeling more creative lately, so he says he's been getting back into it.

it was his grandpa's birthday recently (either his paternal or maternal one) so he went to visit him and also meet friends from there.

He's been meeting with his friends from back when he was in baseball a lot lately (he mentioned this on NACK 5 too, i forgot to add lol. He's met with the captain (one time to get baseball gloves) and the ace on the team.)

🦁 : I mean, like, with you - and guys in general - I'm fine. But with women I get nervous 💦 I've always been like this.
🦁 : I imagine that they're my classmates, then whether they're guys or girls I'll be more at ease. If I think of them as a classmate, when we say yoroshiku onegashimasu~ it's kind of like first day / orientation, I feel like I can be at ease a bit

Moegara-san was talking about how as a writer he isn't tied to anyone / anything - except deadlines 😂 and how he'd write in like coffee shops and such.
🦁 's also writing and will try it, and he picks business hotels, which got me ROFLing (as does Moegara-san)
