bmsgSummary of SKY-HI's IG Live after NNG Episode 9 (November 29, 2024) premiered on YouTube.
Jessica – a dancer and influencer, joins SKY-HI to discuss this episode!
🌞: I say I’ll start these things at 23:00 but it never happens 😂
[He’s in Okinawa right now for BE:FIRST and edhiii boi. He had a long chat with beef. He was going to end their talk at 23:00 but it didn’t happen at all lol]

🌞: BE:FIRST’s dome tour is going to be insane, look forward to it!
Said that their live with back number is very important and after that is the dome tour!

Jessica wishes she had met / seen NNG earlier [that NNG was a thing earlier?]
Jessica finds all of them super cool
She also thinks the project is set up really well

Jessica and mina knew about each other. Has met CHANMINA a few times at events before, and they’ll greet each other, “Yyyaaa~”
Jessica thinks [something like NNG] has finally come and shouldn’t take this for granted. She thinks it’s all very revolutionary – this project, the staff, and the stage that is prepared for the girls. And something great is happening.
Jessica told her students to apply
[boss laughs]
She says to go for it and apply, doesn’t matter if you get rejected – you took that step
Boss says this project [and the girls] is something they hold very dear and want to train / raise them well, so he’s glad Jessica can see him and mina’s efforts. Even though she’s mostly on the entertainment side rather than the music side.
Jessica: Um, pause, am I supposed to cry during this? 😂 But seriously, thank you so much 🥺
There were quite a lot of Jessica’s students who applied. Two of Jessica’s students are still in the current line-up, she can’t say their names though. She isn’t going to reveal who they are. Mina also doesn’t know which of the two girls are Jessica’s students (Jessica didn’t tell her). Jessica is cheering them on but she’s happy she sees them doing well 🥺🙏
- They have started the 6th round (I think??? I’m not sure on this one)
- The episode this week shows the start of the 5th round with mina’s “Tiger” and of course after this 5th round there is eliminations
- But boss says the 5th screening performances were crazy
- and the girls had an audience watching them (the audience were not filmed). Boss says when the screening was over, they were so shocked over the girls’ performances that they couldn’t stand up and leave.
- So boss says to look forward to the episodes two weeks from now (on 12/13)

Jessica really wanted to thank boss and mina for their care [for the contestants]. Obviously an audition has those who pass and those who are eliminated, but boss and mina do their best to tell those who didn’t pass that “they’re good” since people are often wired to think they didn’t pass cuz they’re “no good”. She thinks these kind of clips of an audition is very rare
Boss thinks it won’t be used, but there was a moment he thought mina was awesome. A girl who was eliminated thought was it because of x part that she didn’t do well in [that made her be eliminated]. Boss said she can reflect on it but she doesn’t need to regret anything about her performance. But mina said, “I don’t even think you need to reflect / be sorry about it,” her performance was great.
🌞: Everyone did great!
Jessica really wants to give everyone involved and the girls are standing ovation
Boss really hopes people can come and see all 30 of the girls and what they create together in January.
Boss isn’t involved in producing them, so he is just there to watch, he enjoys it!
Boss had a dance lesson with the girls recently!
They worked on isolation and rhythm training 💪 (and doggy?)
🌞: I feel like I’m saved too, in a way
Out of female artists he knows, he’s only comfortable with mina, who he is close with, but now that mina’s DNA is with the girls, he thinks it’s easier for him now

🌞: Rejected! It can’t be helped if I don’t pass NNG, because I’m a YES YES BOYS.
Like the boys and him in THE FIRST, the girls seek mina for advice (like “how about I do this song?” or “what do you think of this song”), so in a way he thinks mina is able to lead now.
🌞: NNG from here on is going to be super interesting! X2
🌞 feels a bit apologetic if he got things the girls didn’t order / wanted, and he asked the NNG staff what the girls wanted.
The staff told him, “Jelly, sushi, or chicken”
So he got all three of those for the girls 🤣
🌞: They’re moving their body a lot more than usual, plus they’re also using their brains – you get hungry quickly. So he wanted to properly [make sure they’re fed]
Jessica thought the way he carried in the sushi was very cute LOL
[Jessica had to return to practice so she left]
🌞: BMSG staff is now at 80, so of course, we have staff that has experience with pregnancy. So I asked them, “What’s a gift I can give that would make someone who’s pregnant very happy?” a lot of them said, “Backpacks, because then my two hands are free. I can’t carry them in my arms or feed them milk if I use a shoulder bag. Not even a tote bag, I’d be super happy getting a backpack!”
So after hearing that, he thought he’ll get mina a backpack and he went looking.
🌞: But ya know, when NNG finishes, ZaLaPi will too. Maybe we’ll get to 100

🌞: But they’re expensive for a reason! It’s light and sturdy. Plus I don’t use it. Money I mean. Probably when I buy presents [I use money]. Or more like, buying presents for CHANMINA is the only way I actually spend my money, and birthday presents for my company’s artists.
