bmsgBE:FIRST's members from Nagoya - SHUNTO, RYUHEI, RYOKI - have their own radio show, BE:TALK on CBC Radio since 2021.
Starting from Ryoki's birthday and for the program in 2022, each time it was a member's birthday the boys take the time to compliment each other. They have said some wholesome things, so enjoy the translation below! :)
Because it's ryoki's bday shunto and ryuryu take turns to give ryoki compliments based on a topic they pick outta a box 🎉
topic 1: "radio recordings"
- peace of mind; since he's very good at talking and he gives responses / situations where ryuryu and shunty can also talk or continue the conversation
topic 2: voice
- ryoki's voice has an edge to it (ryuryu can't really copy it but he did a little), and his voice has a happy vibe to it so you feel happier listening to him
ryoki was expecting like a roast after each nice compliment but both boys all said good things (no roasting lol), so martin/ryoki got emo emo revolution 🥺 😆
topic 3: What Ryuryu+Shunto like the most about ryoki
- Knows where all the good restaurants / food are at! (shunto obviously) shunto adds that ryoki won't just tell them he'll actually take them there; ryoki's live performances, each time is a little different (ryuhei)
topic 4: What ryuryu+shunty respect the most about ryoki
- knows how to bring out his good points (shunty), since shunty's not confident in himself he says he learns a lot from observing ryoki.
Ryoki mentions that during THE FIRST shunty often visited his room / bed because he was feeling not confident during the audition and would talk to him about his worries. Ryoki aniki finds this aspect of shunty cute
ryuryu respects that ryoki knows how to bring out his personality well, without taking away attention from the others. It's very BMSG.
Ryoki: y'all are making me wanna cry, (he says cause that's what he got told to fix the most during THE FIRST) so it feels like his work has paid off
